I lost 21 pounds in 21 days. I started at 220 and finished at 199. I accomplished this with exercise at Innovative Health & Fitness, training with Rebecca Schmidt and participating in a total body purification program.
During the three-week period, I exercised three to four days per week and trained with Rebecca one day per week. I completely change my diet – cutting out all unnecessary carbs. For the first 10 days, I ate veggies almost exclusively – usually raw, but sometimes cooked. For days 11-21, in addition to veggies, I added protein – mostly fish and a little bit of chicken. Also, I drank about a gallon of water every day and had an apple.
A couple things I’ve learned from this experience: quite literally “you are what you eat.” If you are not eating properly, no amount of exercise will make up the difference. Small meals of healthy foods can be very satisfying and prevent overeating.
My weight loss plan for the first 20 pounds was a bit extreme. The next ten pounds will be lost with a slow and steady plan, proper food choices will be key and continued exercise at Innovative Health & Fitness.
