Testimonial:

What brought me to Innovative was a Black Friday deal. I was searching for a different lifestyle and better confidence. I was proposed to on Thanksgiving and the next day I knew I needed a change if I was to be the bride I envisioned.

When I was unhealthy, I was consciously aware that each day my weight was increasing with my habits; which lead to my confidence depleting, my insecurities screaming and defeat was an emotion I was quite familiar with. I bought bigger clothes, I avoided pictures and I focused my attention elsewhere.

I used that rock bottom mentality to push me to sign up at IHF. I used that self-anger to hire a trainer, a way to hold myself accountable. I took those insecurities as a way to challenge myself into new habits, new routines and daily good decisions. And I channeled that previous negligent behavior as motivation to understand myself better, both physically and mentally.

With the help of IHF, Tiffany and my own research and learning; I have found that having an active lifestyle and well balanced nutrition is the framework for my happiness. My anxiety has decreased, my health has improved medically, and my energy as a person became more positive. It is so much easier to go to the gym and eat healthy than it is to be unhappy with what I see in the mirror every day. I have found a new love and confidence for myself again and a drive to make myself healthier for my future.

While I am still learning every day on bettering myself, the only advice I can give to others about weight loss or making a lifestyle change is that it doesn’t happen overnight. Often, I find others trying to take short-cuts, getting discouraged, or giving up because results aren’t coming fast enough. A little progress each day adds up to big results in the long run. Seek to find what works for your body, your schedule, and your commitments. Find a gym and surround yourself with people who have the same goals as you, IHF was a perfect environment for me to succeed.
