Matt’s athletic background led him to pursue a degree in exercise science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and, ultimately, to Innovative. While pursuing his degree, Matt interned as a strength and conditioning coach for the Badger’s volleyball, track, and cross country teams. When he’s not pushing himself in the gym, Matt enjoys playing a variety of sports or spending time outdoors. Typically, you can find him doing both of these things simultaneously at Lake Michigan’s beaches.


It’s time to kick complacency to the curb and get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Only through pushing ourselves to the outer reaches of our abilities will we begin to see growth and improvement. Exercise is a type of “just-manageable challenge” that stresses both the mind and body. These “just-manageable challenges” have the potential to make us more resilient in every aspect of life.
