Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI I grew up on the northside and moved south as an adult. I became interested in group fitness after coming home from training for the Marines. I fell in love and knew I wanted to be in front of the room. I love seeing people push their limits and helping people work through everyday struggles with the power of a good sweat. Seeing someone progress from a beginner to an expert is one of the best parts of this job. It feels great seeing people care about themselves enough to give their best and be rewarded for the work. Personally, I’m a wife and mother to one little guy and spend most of my spare time playing with him. I also work full-time as a captionist for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!”
― Sylvester Stallone,
