What He Accomplished
– Lost 38 pounds
– Getting healthier

– Waded in the pool
– Walked the treadmill
– Walked the track
– Light weight lifting three times a week
Testimonial:
Fitness has always been a part of my life – from playing basketball from age 14 through 21, when I blew out both my quadriceps, while on the practice squad for the Atlanta Falcons. Little did I know that injury probably saved my life. 12 years later, after passing out at work, I was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Failure. Doctors wanted me to retire, but I continued to work and work out for the next 17 years.
In 2013, I again collapsed at work and my heart condition caused me to retire. My doctors did not expect me to live more than a few years after the original diagnosis, and tell me all the time I am a miracle.
My doctors and (I) feel that staying in shape and cardiovascular fitness is what has kept me here.
